This volume includes four chapters that detail advances in nanotechnology. Chapter 1 presents an integrated perspective on the role of nanotechnology in bone regeneration, linking the biological foundations of bone healing with advanced material design and therapeutic strategies. Chapter 2 examines fast power reactors as some of the most promising for solving the problem of safely providing humanity with long-term energy. Chapter 3 covers the formulation, engineering, and industrial applications of multifunctional essential oil nanoemulsions (EO-NEs). It highlights key fabrication methods, both high and low-energy, as well as their effects on physicochemical properties. Finally, in Chapter 4, there were two objectives: (1) to quantitatively assess the antimicrobial efficacy of AgNPs in comparison to silver ions, and (2), to evaluate the cytotoxicity of AgNPs utilizing the standard colorimetric MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay.
